Flush Your Local DNS Cache

A corrupt or error-prone local DNS cache may trouble you while browsing a particular web site or server . The only option to overcome this problem is to clear your local DNS cache for the operating systems.

For Windows vista and Windows7 :

Following are the steps need to consider for the purpose

  • Click on Start then click All programs
  • Click on Accessories
  • Choose Run as Administrator by right clicking on Command Prompt
  • Type the following in the command prompt window
  • ipconfig /flushdns

message will flash as “Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache”.
