Sending bulk or mass mails to the recipients produce big threats to server in terms of privacy, information breach and security.To prevent the menace, Plesk control allows settings to prohibit the potential users against sending mass emails to the users.
You may do the following steps to perform the operation
- Create a file named maxrcpt in the directory $QMAIL_ROOT_D/qmail/control/
- where $QMAIL_ROOT_D is the location defined in the file /etc/psa/psa.conf file.
- Type the number of allowed recipients in this file.
- Now save it.
If you no longer need to restrict the number of recipients, just delete the maxrcpt file.
